Turandokht

New piece inspired by the tale of Turandokht (literally "the daughter of Turan").

The story revolves around the cold and cruel yet beautiful princess Turandokht. Resolved to never let any man possess her, she decrees that any suitor must answer her three riddles or die. Brave men from all over the world try to win her hand but Turandokht cruelly executes them all- until a prince from a strange land conquers the icy princess with the power of love.

The femme fatale theme intrigues me as usual. Turandokht has such an interesting character that I couldn't help but had to sketch her out.
My first try painting in Illustrator. Hope you like it!
